Does anyone know of a puck light that is 120V supplied that can be hardwired?

Most I've seen are plug in type.

I generally steer clear of these but wac lighting might have something nice.

I think they get to hot for in the cabinet.

But back to your question. No , I,ve not seen any that are hard wired.

I havn't either. Cabinet design got changed. Cabinets go all the way to the ceiling, almost, small space but crown molding already installed. No attic above this area, and cabinet dude drilled a hole in top of cabinet and poked the wires through. Bummer.

I was planning on switched receps above cabinet, but that's out.

I have to punt now. I might be looking at a small can light now.

They make some nice LED in recessed lights now. High dollar ones.

The light color wouldn't look right I don't think. Doesn't have that warm glow I think most people are looking for.

But I will check those out. Thanks.

How about installing one of these on top of the cabinet. If the heights allow it. Check out the link for all the dimensions.

Finally got these installed last week. Nice equipment. Seems well made. Finding anyone who stocks them was a problem. Order early I'd say.

Thanks Stickboy for the lead. I will use these again.

There was only one little problem. Since the transformer was taller than the space above the cabinets and the fact that I had no access above, I did have to bust out the drywall above to finesse them in place.

I had the bright idea that I would see how they fit before wiring. It fit great, but I dropped it inside the light hole above the cabinet and it took me 20 minutes to stand it back upright and wrestle it back out the hole.

I don't recommend a test fitting. :)

if cabinets r in ceiling, why not go for a small recessed light?

Hey dogboy I said check out wac lighting in the second post and then stickboy comes along and steals the show.
Well I ought to tie a shoestring to a wiffleball and tie it to your tail.
That ought to keep you busy for a little while.
"Oh I put them in and they are just perfect"
I will get you a spot on project runway for petes sake if thats the way you roll.
