Small 60yr old cottage.
I dont have to touch the ac unit only install outlet.
Panel behind fridge 3 ft to top.
75ft total wire 12-2through crawlspace then drilled across house 5' high lots of junk.
Panel - AC opposite corners of cottage.
Total material 99$ Device plate OW box 2pole breaker and 175' 12-2 left on coil. 50$ usable wire left from 75$ coil. Realistic total material 50 bucks.
I will guess 3 hrs total looking + getting material+fishing snaking walls stapledown drilling through crawlspace.
How much would your quote be??

how much does the permit cost, and how much time will that take you?

what about the inspection?

This particular township is not strict and an inspection for a job this small would rarely get filed. Some townships by me require a permit to change an outlet this township does not.

600 - 750 dollars would be a good price depending on the permit price and how much time you taken to get material, pass in permit application etc

At least $495, I'd likely bump it up to $550

Flying by the seat of my pants, I'd say $575 with no plan or direction.

you must be one of those evil ECs driving down the price for all the honest ECs out there. :)
