today i was at rhode island hospital and i noticed the electrician painted 4 inch square covers green. what does the green stand for?

It's probably just a system identifier for an in-house color code.

I normally use green for the normal power system.

We would use green for 120 volt lighting.

In the hospital where I am working it means Normal non critical power.

i brought my dad to the hospital and i was looking in the dumpster from the ER window and noticed green spray paint marks on tops of mc spools in the shape of a 4 inch square cover

Im at a school that happens to also have a hospital of the same name.
At Present job:
Red - Fire alarm

Black -277

Orange - 277 Emer

green- 120

Forgot color for 120 Emer !

purple - Data (door security only)

Lite blue - a/c control
