View Full Version : No Lube Cable
has anyone tried the no lube cable yet. we had a 250 run of 4 - 400 mcm today and my guys said it worked great once you got it set up and in the pipe. but trying to feed the slippery crap was a different story. also there is an apparent problem with phase tape not sticking very well. my foreman said that in the right application it should do well but for certain pulls it was going to be a problem. any thoughts?

This has been discussed here before, here's one example:

You can do a search and find more threads on the subject.

Why not use colored wire? Then you don't need the phase tape.

Or if you must use cut black lengths of it for cost purchase or whatever use colored heat shrink sleeves.

The sim-pull wire cost the same if its black or colored when I used to buy it.
