Number of Load Side Receptacles

Is there a code-mandated maximum number of receptacles that can be protected off the load side of a GFI? What about manufacturer recommended limits?

follow manufacturers recommendations IMHO, no NEC limit in resi, 180VA commercial, i think....

There is no NEC maximum number of receptacles that are premitted to be installed downstream from a GFCI receptacle. You would need to follow the manufactures installation instructions (110.3(B)).
