View Full Version : Missing neutrals?
Did a conversion on a 4plex apt today, from single meter to a quad pack. While tying into the existing (4)QO2100's outside, we noticed that only two of them had neutrals in them. Got to looking futher in a gutter above and found two load pipes, each, having two sets of feeder phases and only one neutral making a total of five wires (#3awg) going to two apts each. Each apt has a very small QO pnl (probably 12 circuit)....wondering what they did with the neutrals????? I dont see a place they could have spliced.....geez

Wow. Never actually seen that setup, but 215.4 (A) allows common neutrals. Weird though.
