I dont think the test is a lot worse than it was befor PSI they have removed most of the absurd questions and I haven't heard any complaints from those that have put the effort into studying. The business section is a an issue if you are not familar with the laws. and there will be more calculations then the Jy test.

i printed out all the massachusetts general laws the testing company reccomended and also bought the contractors business book they had on the site. i think the test is on the stuff they reccomend. im using the mike holt nec exam prep book to study from and hopefully ill pass the first time :smile:

It was a long day, sitting at the computer for 5+ hours is no fun.

The business portions were the hardest, also the NFPA FA stuff can be confusing due to not(me) using that book so much. PSI didn't have a book when took the test, I had to gather all the material for the test on my own.

Demanding but worth it. OSHA stuff pretty straight forward, MA amendments etc.

I did not think it was easy nor too hard. I had my helper cleaning the shop in the morning and "went out for a bit" and came back with the plastic.lol

Never told anyone I was going to take it, there is enough pressure to perform never mind if everyone is asking afterwards. Study and prepare yourself and you'll be fine.
