Can anyone tell me where to find info on MH lamps that work with HPS ballasts. Will any MH work or is there a special retrofit lamp? Im having trouble finding the info on Google-any info would be appreciated.

I did my own search, and the only retrofit lamps that I can find are HPS that are designed to be used on MH and MV ballasts. You are trying to go the opposite way however. I think you are out of luck.

Just replace the ballast kit with the right kind and call it a day.

Here some from Venture: http://www.venturelighting.com/LampsHTMLDocuments/white-lux_selection.html

But swapping out the ballast is IMO the best solution, retrofit lamps will cost more then a standard lamp.

the lamps are $35-$40 and take 5-15 mins to replace.....MH ballast and lamp is $80 and takes 15-30 mins to replace....

and GE also makes a HPS-MH lamp, venture is cheaper...
