We have a couple of projectors that we need to install in our confrence rooms.

What type of cable will we need to go from the projector to the monitor connection on a laptop computer?

I will pulling the cables through a conduit to the floor box under the table and will be making up the ends on site so premade cables are out.

Also what is the pin out for the 15 pin connectors?

Tim,
There are pre-made cables available that you can pull through a 3/4 conduit. You then need to get adapters to convert them to the serial port connection and the audio connection on both ends. I'm out of town right now so I can't give you part numbers, but you can order them through CEW or other computer suplliers

this sounds like stone age stuff. they make little wireless thingies that you plug into your laptop and remote to monitors/projectors/big screens, etc

Tim, the usual goal is to use the highest-quality video format that both the source and the projector share. Then, use whatever raceway is necessary.
