IMC and LQT Conduit are allowed in class1 div.II classified room to be use for lighting system

Assuming the room is properly classified, Intermediate Metal Conduit (IMC) and Liquidtight Flexible Metal Conduit (LFMC) are acceptable in Class I, Division 2. Other flexible raceways and wiring methods are also permited in Division 2. [See 501.10(B)(2)] I do not know what LQT is.

Be VERY careful with any flexible wiring method and see the additional grounding and bonding rules in Section 501.30.

All wiring methods must meet all other NEC rules that apply to them.
