I am curious to know if the inspectors in different areas are all enforceing 334.80, which says that NM ampacity will be in accordance with the 60 degree rating.I've seen #6 NM CU used for 60 amp hot tubs that passed inspection, and I've see it fail. In both instances 60 amp breakers were installed. Thanks

Yes, I enforce 334.80.

240.4(B) would allow the 60A breaker on 6AWG NM, if the load isn't over 55A.
