I'm not trying to be a nitpick, but this area is for Electrical Contracting and Estimating/Management. Lately I have noticed more and more NEC type questions. Please take the NEC questions to the NEC forum.

Thanks!

While I do agree, the problem seems to be that there is no "General" topic forum. All are quite specific as to content.
I had a Leviton DHC question and didn't know where to put it. It wound up in NEC, but it is really not an NEC post.
If it is an installation issue, this is the "Electrical Contracting...." forum. So where better to put such posts?

I agree to a point. If a question is to be posted, look at the spots available, look at your question, pick where you think it fits the best, and post it . . . done. The person who has posted will get help. The moderators will leave the question where it is posted unless it is really in the wrong place and should be moved. :D

Since the "Board people" do not want a general topic area here for some reason, you could post here: http://electrical-contractor.net/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro That way no nit picking is necessary.
