are industrial forklift battery chargers considered appliances, and therefore follow the rules of article 422 regarding overcurrent protection, etc.

Try looking at article 625, Specifically 625.21

Wayne 625 does not apply to off road vehicles.

Check the scope and then the definition of electric vehicle.

what i am really asking is...can i put 2 battery chargers, each pulling 11 amps at 480v 3 phase on one 30 amp 3 pole breaker, i guess with #10 wire...or do i need a separate 20 amp breaker for each charger
