IMO the UL White book indicates that a metal service head is not permitted to be used with RNM.

UL white book (DZYR)
PVC Conduit is designed for connection to couplings, fittings, and boxes by the use of a suitable solvent-type cement. Instructions supplied by the solvent-type cement manufacturer describe the method of assembly and precautions to be followed. It seems pretty clear to me that a metal weatherhead on PVC conduit is not compliant with the listing for the PVC conduit. Section 356.6 requires PVC conduit and it's fittings to be listed. Section 110.3(B) requires all listed equipment to be installed according to the any instructions included with the listing.

Donnie why would you use a PVC riser and then change over to a metal weatherhead?
