Low Voltage devices in Class 1 Div 1

What is the rule on a Magnetic Door Contact used for security in a Class 1 Div 1 area such as a sewage pit?

This may be dejaVu, but I* thought I have already posted a reply to this. Oh well. Couple issues to this. First thing is it has to be listed for use in this area, or it must be apart of a intrinsically safe apparatus. Second thing would be to consider mounting this equipment and wiring outside of the Div 1 area if at all possible.
