more than one service

I looked at an old house that was turned into a bunch of apartments and it actually had 2 different service drops to it. the one service drop feeds 5 meters, the other one feeds 3 meters. since these are 2 different services do they clear the lessthan 6 rule?

They are grouped in seperate locations, correct ? Six or less at each location.

yes grouped in seperate locations but on the same building with no firewall between the 2 services

230.2(B) may have been used. The AHJ may have written a letter to permit this installation. :smile:

thanks for the welcome. I am trying to get the inspectors and the power company blessing on this. all I am trying to do is replace some old meter stack and a panel. but if I touch this, I must bing up to code.
