It's been a while since I have done an LA City project. The current LA City Electrical Code is the California Electrical Code (CEC) with city amendments. The CEC is the 2005 NEC with state amendments.
At one time the City of LA had a Table of typical ambient temperatures appended to what would now be Section 310.15 in the 2005 NEC. It specified the ambient of various ?conditions of use.? I thought it was rather handy at the time since I didn?t have to determine ambients on my own.
The City now also publishes a set of Information Bulletins to establish consistent interpretations.
Currently, none of these sources mention a standard ambient. What I am trying to determine is when the Table disappeared and what its contents were prior to the disappearance.
If anyone has information on the subject I'd appreciate a post.
