We are installing a day tank for diesel fuel in an enclosed CMU constructed room, located outside in a parking lot. Does any or all of the exposed conduit and fittings require classifcation?

conduit and fittings are not classified. classification refers to the geographic area in which you might install them and indicates there is a specific risk of fire that requires special precautions be taken to reduce that risk.

conduit and fittings may either be identified in the code or listed by a testing agency as suitable for use in an area that is classified.
