Hello,
I had to take a 40-hour class for a some construction certification. During the class they touched very briefly on electrical safety. This class was not geared for electricians; it was actually structured for miners. Anyhow, the tape was horrible and was not a benefit to the class at all. I talked to the instructor and he said he has had a hard time finding videos that are really general but discuss electrical safety issues.
Does anybody have any good sources or can give a name of a few. There should be something out there for carpenters, labors, miners, ect. that say the important things. I think most people know that you need to get a qualified person to take care of something. But how about a rubber cord that is laying in the water, in an underground mine, and is getting run over by a piece of equipment. Or the importance of GFCI protection.
Thanks in advance!

I find videos to not be a very effective learning tool unless they are very short in duration or provide some sort-of shock value such as the ERI Safety Videos mentioned above.

Then again, I'm not huge fan of television and lose interest rather quickly. It just seems that most instructional videos I see today are more involved with production quality then they are with the educational value. If it takes longer than a few minutes to get to the point, I'm going to be off somewhere else.
