A question to those electrical inspectors out there. I am trying to establish an average daily inspection quota. Does anyone know where such data is found? I realize the wide variety of factors and each job has its own requirements, but rumor has it there is an average created by someone. I have found municipalities who have shown a daily average for their jurisdiction, but they do not give specifics on what type or how many inspectors are being factored in, any help appreciated

This is not related to teaching or teachers of electrical stuff. So I am moving it to the "Contracting and Estimating" topic area.

The state of Florida regulates the number of inspections, per day, per inspector through the recommendation of FL-OSHA and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Professions, Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board.

As a Florida inspector who has done as many as 29 (with OT) in one day I'm curious.
