What would be a good estimate unit price range per foot for 3-1/2" RSC with 4-500 cu & 1-2/0 grd?

In order to get a good reply to this may I suggest you first define the enviroment of the installation. This rig at 25' high is going to cost more than at 5' high off finished floor.

Let me re-do that. I didn't notice it was GRC. It's more like $76.00/ft. That's no man lift, 8.25 sales tax on material, $20.00/hr+50% burden, 25% OH/P.

I'd need a bit more info to have any sort of accuracy on a per foot price:
- are we over/under 100'?
- bends...factory or field? How many?
- pull boxes, junctions, terminations ....properly sized, accessible?
- will one "end" be hot? Can it be LOTO? Who is responsible for LOTO?
- do you have pulling equipment already or will it be rented?
Without more details on job conditions, it's just throwing darts.

Celtic,
I agree with you for the most part. But I charge the same for equipment usage if I own it or rent it. I had the buy it at some point and maintenance.

Paul,
owning the equipment and renting will have different rates.
Owning:
- Assumes knowledge of how it works (assembly, safe use, limitations, etc)
- Assumes knowledge of how to transport/store it
Renting:
- Assumes the opposite of the above
Of course, you could rent the same equipment 100x and have intimate knowledge of it.....or, you could have JUST bought it and are still popping the bubble wrap blisters :)
BUT...if you actually own it and charge it out as a rental, eventually the tool will make money - that can not be said for renting.
