What does an average mechanic make per hour in S. Florida?
What does a Journeyman electrician make per hour?
What does a helper/apprentice make per hour?

Hello Rob. The Electrical Council of Florida Apprenticeship Program performs a state mandated wage survey of the participating contractors every year.

First year Apprentices average at $9.55 an hour, licensed J-man is around $17.37 per hour. These are only averages and can range greatly. I personally know electricians that make in excess of $20 an hour, but those positions are fairly rare.
