Assuming I have a Listed Class 2 source, in this case, a low voltage lighting transformer, may I use any class 2 cable with it? I am looking into using Class 2 in wall speaker cable (#16 through #12/2 Stranded) to supply LV strip lighitng. It would save some time, money, and aggrevation as compared to Romex or other Ch 3 methods.
And yes, I am absolutely sure that IO'm dealing with a Class 2, listed supply :)
