Electricians in Vermont

I have recently graduated Vermont Technical College with an associates degree in electrical engineering. I am interested in becoming an electrician. I was wondering what steps I need to take to become an electrician. Also If anyone knows of any companies in the area hiring. Thanks for your time and I appreciate any help.

Dustin, I would simply apply around to different electrical shops in the area.
