Thread Lubrificant

I have a question about thread lubrificant in hazardous areas.
Can you use any type of lubrificant, like vaseline or similar ? Or do have to use e.g Crouse-Hinds screw thread lubrificant STL 2?

Does the Code say anything about this, if yes where?

300.6(a) I prefer Kopr Shield, but that's just me( use whatever the job callout is). 110.3(b) Manufacturer will tell you how to make friends with said product(s).
