Abandon Cable

Can some one print out the page from the NEC Section 800 that shows that Abandon Cable cannot be left in cieling???

800.2 ... Abandoned Communications Cable. Installed communications cable that is not terminated at both ends at a connector or other equipment and not identified for future use with a tag.
800.3(C) (C) Spread of Fire or Products of Combustion Section 300.21 shall apply. The accessible portion of abandoned communications cables shall not be permitted to remain.
So the key is if you don't want to remove it you just tag it for future use and then it poses no danger.
