I watched the Mastering the NEC 2005 DVD section on article 680 and Mark Shapiro, the author, said it is typical to GFCI protect the 20 Amp twistlock receptacle from the load side of the general purpose GFCI outlet. I did an installation like this and got told to review my article 680 by the inspector. I found nothing to prove my installation wrong. Any help???

If the motor draws more than 50% of the circuit than you must put it on a dedicated cir. Art. 210.23 (A)(2)
