I need to find a pop up for required counter receptacles in a kitchen remodel.
Mockit has a 15 amp but I can't seem to find a 20 amp one that would be suitable for a kitchen counter top. I would need 3.

Is the Mockit 15 amp a duplex or a single receptacle? A 15 duplex is all that's required.

Even if it is going to be on a 20 amp GFI breaker?

Kitchen receptacles and gfci receptacles don't need to be 20 amp devices. 15 amp recep. is all that is needed nless it is an individual circuit with a single receptacle. Read art. 210.21(B)(1) then read Table 210.21(B)(3)

Even if it is going to be on a 20 amp GFI breaker?Even if. A 15a receptacle has the same electrical capacity as a 20a receptacle. The only difference is the slot shape.

. . . an individual circuit with a single receptacle.Note to F.F.: One duplex receptacle is not a single receptacle, it is two receptacles.

Where in the code does it say you can have the 210.52(C)(1) through (5)outlets be an outlet strip/extention cord? The whole point of this code is not to use extention cords... The oulets that are supposed to be installed in those locations are to be fed by a 20a circuit. IMO if the outlet that is popping up to cover the location - it should be hard-wired, and/or rated at 20a right up to that location even if it is a 5-15. Not from a 16ga extention cord to the 20a circuit below.

FYI I am sick of these things....

These units are hard wired.
