Think it has a UL label?Looks like a more modern version of my grandfather's work -- but he'd never waste money on a luxury like a keyless porcelain lampholder...

On his solar powered DC system he took tuna fish cans and spot welded a turn signal/brake light lampholder right on the thing, with some plexiglass as an insulator. Pure genius... You guys would have a field day with his place...

Just a hunch, are you two related to this guy?:smile: Wouldn't be the first time the comparison came up... I have a reputation for fixing things (non-electrical mind you) with whatever is at hand. Nobody would confuse us based on looks though.:grin:
