Meter and Breaker panel inspection

Got a call from the manager of a condo complex.

They are requesting an inspection of all their meter pan's and breaker panels.

They had a panel burn up not to long ago because of loose connections and want all thier panels/meters checked.

A total of 140.

First time I'm getting involved in something like this.

I plan to charge a rate per panel/meter and then T&M for any additional work that may be required.

Looking for help setting up the proposal. how long do I guarantee
my inspection?

Also, how will the POCO handle me pulling every meter (I'm in Jersey).

Any help would be appreciated.

Infrared thermographic survey under loaded condition will help you find the problem areas. Strip the wire AND replace the breaker lugs on a unit priced cost basis. Charge time and rental - unless you have a IR scanner - for the actual inspection. Guarantee it for 1 year, stipulating that in six months you want to re-inspect with the thermoigraphic survey and should be paid for that at THAT time.

Call the Wiring Inspection Dept. that serves that area...PSE&G? (I think "no"..maybe JCP&L?) for the meter issue.

Plan of "suiting up " with appropiate PPE.

We did a project like this on a condo complex we sold them on just letting us go through and tighten all panels and outside main diusconnect for each unit then we set up with the utility to have them check the line side of the meter cabinet.

Because of the liability, I would consult with the AHJ as to whether or not it would be a good idea to file this job.
Any time one opens and works in a meterpan in our jurisdiction would send a flag to the POCO to require an inspection.
