He everyone.

I am looking to hire another licensed electrician. My question to all you out there is where would you advertise? I've had a lot of luck using the Boston Globe in the past. I will probably go that route. Though I have never done it in the past, I will possibly put flyers in the local supply houses. It seems that there are a lot more guys looking for jobs now than a few years ago.

The only problem with using the Globe, is that I am looking for a residential electrician. Understandably, with the Globe I get an abundance of people with commercial backgrounds.

So as an employer where have you had success finding the right employees? Conversely, as an employee where have you had success finding a job you are happy with.

And if by chance anyone on the site knows of someone looking in my area, please spread the word.

All opinions welcome.

Thanks,

John

Depends on experience. $23 - $27/ hr. health ins., vaca, holiday, and personal time. More for someone with your qualifications.;) You'd just need to learn to label the panel after the fact.

I've had more success with Craig's List than any other avenue. However, I also got a lot of hits from completely unqualified applicants too.

I think if you put in an add with the Globe, it also get put on http://www.Boston.com (http://www.Boston.com)in the jobs listing that is part of http://www.Monster.com.

Also it is this same listing on the Telegram & Gazette's website http://www.telegram.com in Worcester.

Both are owned by the same company.

That has always been my thought, too.

Thanks to everyone for the replies.
