No, the job box (which is sitting on it's back) is painted black on it's lid.

No - me going home!
480 - you got it - the whole box got blacked out from when this truck had windows. It makes a neat shelf, and you have to open both back doors to get in it. The doors cant open without the alarm going off - and the key is disabled - auto self-locking power locks only to get in it.
The windows got busted in an attempt to get in it - both... I think he got frustrated and busted the second one after he slashed is arm trying to get to the non-operational handel inside - left a lot of blood all over the back of the van.... :D :D The windows cost about the same as new doors without windows....

I wasted my whole day in a Continuing education class, This class was soooo bad I swear the clock was going backwards, I wish my weekends were this long... it was the most terrible experience I have ever gone through, I would have rather gone to the dentist for a root canal.

Here is how is was laid out, First thing we did was kick out all the low voltage guys that were in the wrong room, then we listened verbatim the ENTIRE class about, types of licenses, osha regulations, took lunch and listened verbatim again about article 500, but only the 2005 significant changes... it was absolutely horrible... I fell asleep once or twice, but at least my boss was there to poke me, but I had to poke him once or twice as well...
thats a lot of tools
Especially since it is only me working... Almost everything in the box....

Nice setup I have at least as much stuff but your setup with the job box is awesome. I have a dewalt 18v cordless vac 1/2 gal wet/dry. Lots of guys like to make fun of it and those are usually the first ones who will ask you to borrow something they dont have.. I smile and tell them ..............NO.

Nice job. Today I had my toolbox stool, cordless drill bag, radio, and auger drill on the third floor of the job site. I said out loud, "I wonder if I can make it down in one trip. At the same time I let some funky smelling gas rip. My "rent-a-helper" from the customer said, "You want me to help you?" as he walked near. As soon as he got a whiff I said, "Maybe you might want to let this place air out for a minute!"
So he grabbed my radio and the drill and said, "Let me go in front of you!"
How do you do it if there are stairs?

21st floor - I'd leave them there until the elevator got fixed.... Or a real long rope....
Other-wise (2 stories) use the hand-truck as a regular two-wheeler and make a few trips.

I love when customers ask, "do you need all those tools." I would love to say' "No I just like carrying them in and out of the house." When we are done the customer many times will then say, "you guys are fast, I can't believe your done already" which I do reply, "Thats because we have all these tools"

One guy, two ladders?
Depending on the job, I will use 2 ladders even working alone. It can be a real PITA to keep moving a ladder back and forth between 2 locations. Easier and faster to just leave a ladder at each location.

I work by myself, and I own 9 ladders. 4 are always on the truck.

one of my older trucks was totaled in an accident not are fault and no one hurt just destroyed the old truck front end. I sent the shop boy to the tow yard to remove the truck boxes and mag signs well one sign had adhered to the truck and came off in pieces with paint so if its your van I would not recommend them.

unless your like a plumber friend of mine.he just reaches out grabs the floor joist with his hands lifts up thye ladder with his feet and moves it around.i have seen him run and clamp 60 ft of pipe and never get off the ladder.
he also gives shows at local schools wher he bends 16 penny nails between his fingers. he is a stout dude.
