How much light loss on light fixture with opal lens as opposed to a clear lens?
50%, 60%...etc? With lighting fixture that do not have ies files, I would need to do some adjustments, probably on the lumens. If anybody has a more educated view on this, or knows any articles, pleas let me know. Thanks.

Talk to a lighting fixture vendor for that information. He will innundate you with the REAL facts. Even if he is not your origional fixture vendor, a REAL aggressive salesman looks for your future business.

Thanks LarryFine for pointing that out. I think I have confused opal diffusers to opaque. I mean something milky or sandblasted.
