Maybe this isn't appropriate here but I'm gonna give it a try:

Granite City Electric has been running ads with "electrician jokes" on the TV in Massachusetts and surrounding areas.

The newest one is "Did you hear about the electrician that planted light bulbs? He was trying to grow a power plant!"

Are these funny? Are they effective?

The jokes they use are horribly lame, but maybe that's what they are going for. I can't tell...can you?

Some of the jokes were kind of funny ,I looked at thier web site a couple months ago.

I watched a bunch of them on YouTube the other week, but I can't find them at the moment. Pretty hokey commercials, I thought, but I'd remember them. I still think about those silly "trunk monkey" commercials from a few years ago.

He's waving goodbye because he's off to the supply house with the meter running. That's why he's smilling. :smile:
