Question on Exam taken this week

Had a question on the N.C. Electrical exam this week that ask me to size the overcurrent devise for some receptacles in an office building on a #2THW. Dose anyone know how to come up with the answer? :

If these are regular receptacles, they should only be on a 15 or 20 amp circuit.

Who says the receps are 15- and/or 20-a receps you see in your living room?

Why can't it be a 100a receptacle?

I bet it is for a feeder for a panel that feeds receptacles. Who knows.

The NC test was always multiple choice-- I assume it still is.

Sorry the question did state it was 120 recetpacles where to be installed on a #2 THW feeder
