Past project --long story -- artistic lady has gone through several contractors.. She is trying to redo a 1940's 3-story concrete/block/brick building on a time and material basis. I lasted a week before I gracefully found a good opportunity to exit.. Next contractor is nitpicking.. Is it legal to push MC through existing block/brick/ orange terra-cotta block /plaster.????

Take a look at Article 100 for the definitions of locations wet, damp and dry.

Poured concrete and masonry finish are two different things. But you're correct regular old MC is not permitted in poured concrete.
