Re: Mini Power Center, single phase 480/240-120, 25kVA. Transformer has 100A main primary & 125A secondary breakers. Client?s intentions are to feed power to this from an MCC across the room five feet away. In the MCC is a 60A breaker they plan to use. (a little tight to me)

I think the mini power center should be main lug only but I don?t know if it will come that way. If it comes with a main breaker, what dictates sizing of the conductors; the 100A in the mini power center or the 60A feeder in the MCC?

I'm in a hurry - need some feedback quick please and thank you.

If I understand the feeder to the center will be fed from a 60 a mp breaker. That will determine the circuit size. The M/B in the center will only be serving as an unneeded disconnect.

fast enough ?

Real fast - thanks a bunch

I agree, the 60A. A contractor is debating this right now and I don't want them ramming a 1.25" conduit back and forth through some cable tray. (and we don't want them to use the tray)
