When some inspectors or electricians check a grounding conductor that has been caldweled . How would you check it?

They make a tester recommended by Cadweld, A hammer smack it.

Some jobs spec a micro-ohm meter test.

As an inspector, I would not physically touch any contractor's work myself. I may ask the contractor or one of his foreman to test something.
Inspectors should not be touching any work, making an appointment to meet someone there is the way to handle these types of inspections.

Same way I test if a ground clamp is tight! That is why they continue the rubber of the sole past the front of our workboots.

So this "hammer" that you speak of, is it a new-fangled, whiz-bang tool made by Fluke or Megger?:wink::grin:
