Generator Connection Point - Sizing

I need to size/spec an enclosure for a generator connection point (generator will be brought in on an as needed basis). The generator will have to be able to feed up to 1200A...so it will need to be a pretty large enclosure. Is this something that is available pre-manufactured or just a really large junction box? I also guess that to be of any use there will need to be a conduit stub-up location where the generator would go, but that is a big unknown at this point.

I'm sure this is an oddity to have such a large size as this, so I will definitely take examples of how this is accomplished on smaller scales.

You can directly connect the generator to the transfer switch without a cabinet in between.

Cutler hammer makes roll up connection boxes for your application.
The also sell double through safety switches with can-lok connections for roll ups.
