I was at home at 9:30 PM last night and we where having a little storm nothing to exciting. My wife says that she saw some lightning and then the lamp next to the bed went off.
So I reset the breaker thinking it was a surge. So then at 11:22 PM the breaker trips again and I leave it in the open position and tell her to use one of the other receptacles on a different circuit until I can figure out what is going on.
The odd thing is that I installed a whole house TVSS unit about 5 years ago and have not had one incident with lightning since the installation. The TVSS appears to be working properly so I am not sure what would cause this issue.
I will be trouble shooting this evening so hopefully I will find something quickly.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.
