I can't find anything that says I cannot share a branch circuit and it's source feeder in a junction box ,but I've never had to do this before, so I was hoping someone had some experience with this and if it is code.

You probably already know this ...but...

If your "source feeder" includes Service Conductors, you can't do this.

Just wanted to make sure.:)

keep in mind, your term "feeder" is key to the question. In the event of service conductors, 230.7 would make additional conductors a violation.

Like all those branch circuits in that circuit breaker panel where the service conductors terminate?

That brings up a good question (to me anyway).

Is a junction box considered a raceway?
I'm talking about a junction box that has only cables passing thru it, not conduit.

One can always argue that a main-breaker enclosure contains both service and feeder conductors, and a main-breaker panel contains both service and branch-circuit conductors.

Yeah, but we never let that stop us, do we? ;)
