I'm trying to properly ground the mast mounted antenna that I installed on my roof. I have come up with the following two options:

1.) Run #10 thhn stranded wire from the antenna mast to the coax grounding block at the point of entry. Then run #10 thhn stranded wire from the coax grounding block to a driven 4 ft copper ground rod. Lastly run #6 thhn stranded wire from the 4 ft copper ground rod to the system ground.

2.) Run #10 thhn stranded wire from the antenna mast to the rigid steel service entrance conduit. The run #10 thhn stranded wire from the coax grounding block to a driven 4 ft copper ground rod. Lastly run #6 thhn stranded wire from the 4 ft copper ground rod to the system ground. This option is similar to the picture below except I will be making the connection to the rigid steel service entrance conduit on the roof side of the flashing.

My meter and service installation is identical to the one shown on page 27 of 46 in this document.
