So I just finished the slab work for a new church

I have a total of 31 conduits ranging in size between 3/4" and 1 1/4" all stubbed out of the concrete along a wall with the intent of these conduits entering the bottom of a 12" x 12" trough approx. 6' long

above this trough is to be 3 different 120/208 V panels

being mostly a service electrician, i thought this was a pretty common way to get this deck work complete (pipe into wireway, go wherever needed and pipe up into correct panel)

after reading art 376 metal wireways, i'm well over 30ccc for this wireway

can I separate this 6' long trough into 3 sections to keep the ccc below 30 with end caps and nipple between them (that seems silly)
or is this not a wireway at all and just a 12x12x6 foot long junction box?

It may not help you but understand that is 30 ccc per any cross section and not the entire wireway. As it was explained to me, take a 1" section of wireway, pretend you cut it and removed it and makes sure there are no more than 30 cc in that 1 section.
It also might help to nipple your panels together so, if need be you can enter panel A from your wireway and route the wire thru the panel to B or C.
