Yes, but it couldn't be outside or underground, it would have to be in a dry location.

In what application or you installing NM cable in a PVC conduit?

There are no local amendments in NJ. You can say they "don't like it" or there's another problem.:roll:
Maybe Rick can shine some light on the subject.

Can you put romex in pvc?are there any exceptions??
Other than the dry location requirement, two items you might want to consider. If you are actually installing NM in conduit, check Note 9, Chapter 9 (pg 671-'08 Code) about sizing the conduit to the cable, and if you are "sleeving" romex coming into a panel note the restrictions in 312.5(C).
