Neutral Bar Problem

I see nothing wrong with the neutral bar. Other than the slots are lot all the same direction. :D

Now, the conductors that are in it, well............

You may also suggest the electrician ditch the knife and get a pair of strippers.

OK I'll say it, what's with the black wire?

That looks like one leg of a transformer, probably for the doorbell. Look to the left of the pic and you can see a mounting screw that could possibly be to hold the transformer in place in the 1/2" KO.

This panel mest have been made up by the same guy that makes sausage at the grocery store! Picture doesn't show enough detail and now we are assuming things are there that can't be seen.I saw a movie like this a while back

Them terminal are obviously not torqued, becaouse the screwdriver slots are not deformed ????
