Elec BB Heat Attempt

When the homeowner hires a handyman to build a new room and allows him to install the electric. This is what happens.

50% of the receptacles did not work at all.

This UF cable which was stapled to the bottom of the basement joists feeds the two separate 12/2's which feed electric baseboard heat.

They used a single pole breaker (singular) and wonder why they don't have heat.

If they supplied 120 Volts to 240 Volt BB heating units, they should have had ? heat output, instead of no heat.

If there was no heat output at all, then other wiring problems may exist.

I honestly think that they tapped into the same circuit for the receptacles that did not work and that might explain it too. I have not been called back to that house yet so I don't know the end result.

What about the integrity of that floor joist. It appears the handyman drill thru the entire depth of the joist.
I noticed that hole in #7, but did not think about the joist integrity. Can you believe someone would put themselves through that kind of work?
