Service Entrance Conductor Marking

For years here in Florida we have stripped the outer sheath off the 4 conductor service entrance cable and used the three insulated conductors for the service entrance conductors down the service mast even though the conductors themselves are not marked. Is this no longer an acceptable practice?

I dont see anything in 230 that says they have to be marked. Not sure where else to look.

It hasn't been legal for many years but if you left it in the jacket you would be fine. Now, why do you install se cable inside conduit? It is a waste of money.
