Pass Rate on Washington State Exams

From the last Electrical Board meeting, a report states that the pass rate on the electrical exams for those in a formal training program was 67% and those who qualified by On-The-Job Training had a pass rate of 38%.
Washington now requires those in OJT training to take 8 hours a year of classroom only electrical training. There is a proposal in the current legislative session to require 16 hours per year.

In California it's 32 hours of CE every three years to remain a "certified electrician".

I think the better show of the numbers involved would be the age of the test takers...

It's always great to walk into the first lecture of a class to hear, see the person on each side of you, they won't be here later... :grin:
