I thought some might find these interesting:

One of my buddies owns a photo studio and art gallery. The last Friday of every month, he has a new artist displaying work.
Last night the monthly artist had about 300 pieces that were made from various electrical parts and other things.
Some had motor control red/green stop start lights that were lit, some were mechanical and would operate, some were just interesting.

Here's a small sample:

So what were the prices?

I wonder how much the flashlights in the last photo would be worth before they got destroyed making these things.

Prices were under a hundred to many hundreds.
There were some that stood 3-4 feet tall.

Not sure about the flahlights, but most items were recycled, so they probably didn't work.

Wow you must be old to remember lost in space!:D
....

I remember watching the very first episode in September, 1965 where they launched the series, and the Jupiter II! I was in the 3rd grade.

It was on CBS, and the next year had Batman in the same time slot on ABC! In those days, you didn't have the option of using a VTR/VCR/DVR so you could watch `em both.

You had to pick your show, and miss the other one.
