A project I'm on now has a set up from the 70's.

it has 1- breaker, to a 3 to 5 contractors, to 2 or 3 overloads out to motors.

We are moving the whole system to a new cabinet PLC controlled.

The question of doing a few of the motors the same way came up.

Ive looked through 430 and ab .com haven't seen any thing specific.

any Knowledge of this ?

If it were a NRTL listed control cabinet...which I doubt from the description..then that covers it.
If not, and they are just contactors without individual GFSC protection, I don't see much of a way they could meet Art 430, especially 430 Part IV.

doesn't 450.53 say I can?
Yes. But you will notice that they would all be (a) under 1 hp or (b) the smallest motor would be protected per 430.52, or (c) factory assembly.
The (c) would probably be NRTL and (b) if difficult to obtain.
